I saw God today.
It was randomly beautiful, touchingly powerful. A strange
old lady hugged me for no reason.
I felt blessed, so blessed. That strange unearthly feeling
of something divine touching the soul. Like the sweet hint of a beautiful
presence for a moment in prayer; like the sudden dawning of significance the
day a friendly butterfly fluttered right next to me, for the entirety of my 5minute
walk; like when a sweet child I’d never seen before threw her chubby arms
around my legs and wouldn’t let go.
It was randomly beautiful, touchingly powerful.
I saw God today.
I love all the imagery, but especially the butterfly staying by your side for the whole walk.
